Job description
- Providing proactive assistance to the Project Director in daily implementation of all project activities and assuming overall responsibility for administrative matters of a more general nature
- Compiling materials and gathering all necessary data for development of narrative reports
- Drafting minutes of all project related meetings
- Assisting in arranging external and internal meetings
- Taking care of all project related logistical matters
- Ensuring office maintenance and security related tasks
- Assisting in ensuring organization of court visits, seminars, press conferences, workshops, public campaigns and other events, participating in court trials on gender based violence when requested
- Identifying communication needs of project’s different activities and being responsible for the production of communication and visibility materials (photos, videos, stories, information pieces, articles etc.)
- Assisting in increasing Coalition’s visibility, targeted messaging and communication by highlighting deliverables and results achieved throughout the project
- Working on EUDIGITOOL platform and updating project implementers’ visibility materials
- Preparing leaflets and information notes for media and stakeholders in the frames of project activities
- Developing information and regularly updating Coalition’s web-page and social media on project activities under the supervision of Coalition’s External relations officer
- Undertaking translation of communication pieces and information notes from English to Armenian or vice versa
- Assisting in procurement of equipment, supplies and services
- Performing other duties as required by Project Director, External relations officer or Grants Manager
Required knowledge and experience
- Bachelo՛rs degree in Media studies, Business Administration, Management, Public Relations or other related disciplines
- At least 2 years of relevant administrative and/or communications experience in local NGOs and institutions; prior relevant experience with EU-financed projects will be an asset
- Fluency in English and Armenian languages is required
- Experience in managing and using website and social media platforms for communication activities
- Experience in supporting project administrative, communication, technical and operational activities
- Working experience in the area of gender issues is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills including report writing skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Great sense of commitment and ability to work in a flexible and resilient environment
- Knowledge on issues related to women’s rights, gender equality and gender based violence
- Gender sensitivity and desire to bring about a positive change in the field of women’s rights.
